The sun shone bright as Shivaji College celebrated its annual festival — Vibrations. Held over two days — February 28 and March 1, the festival saw students from various colleges put their best foot forward in the competitions.
The first day saw some cool moves by the students during the western dance competition, followed by Thunderstruck, the competition for the best rock band, where young band members churned out some cult rock and roll numbers, with the crowd grooving to the music.
The second day began on a more serious and dramatic note with the street play competition, as the theme was gender oppression. The enthusiastic crowd was then treated to a power-packed performance by Bombay Vikings singer Neeraj Shridhar. The singer started off the night with the hit track Hare Ram Hare Ram from the film Bhool Bhulaiya, followed by popular Bollywood chartbusters like Hey Baby and Tumhi Ho Bandhu. His act went on for more than an hour.
