India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a 'red' alert for Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Madhya Pradesh. The scorching heatwave conditions can lead to several health conditions.

Here are 10 must-have items for the ongoing brutal heatwaves.

Water bottle

Drinking water, especially when you step outdoors, can help keep your body cool and hydrated amid the harsh heatwave. Opt for a thermal bottle to store cold water.

Sunscreen

Applying a sunscreen amid heatwaves can help protect your skin from the harmful UV rays. Make sure to re-apply sunscreen every two hours when outside.

Umbrella

Umbrellas can help protect you from the harmful rays of the sun during a heat wave. 

Sunglasses

Make sure to wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from damage caused by excessive exposure to the sun's UV rays.

Scarf

Cover your face with a scarf to prevent sunburn and heat stroke. Carry a light scarf to protect yourself from heatwave.

Medicines
