Tips To Travel On a Hot Sunny Day

It is important to protect yourself from the sun when you are travelling on a hot and sunny day. Here are some tips for you to travel safely during sunny days

Use sunscreen

Whenever you plan to step outside in the sun, make sure to apply sunscreen on body parts that are exposed to the sun including your face to protect yourself from harmful UV rays

Stay hydrated

Carry at least 2 liters of water with you when you travel in the sun so that you don't feel parched. Drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated and to replenish yourself

Dress for the weather

Wear loose-fitting breathable clothes that are light-coloured. Try to cover all your body parts to prevent yourself from sunburn. Wear a cap or a hat and sunglasses

Limit your time in the sun

Plan your itinerary carefully when you're travelling in hot arid regions. Try not to be exposed to the sun from 11 am to 4 pm for long durations

Opt for exploring places early in the morning or in the evening when the temperature is relatively cooler than day time

Carry electrolytes and medicines
