5 tips to improve scalp health in summer

Maintaining a proper hair care routine is essential, especially in summer months, as an increase in temperature and humidity can lead to oily scalp. 

Here is a hair care routine that you can follow during summers to improve your scalp health.

Oiling

Your scalp naturally produces oil that is good for your hair. During summers, you can massage some natural oil to your scalp, 30 minutes before washing your hair to avoid frizziness.

Use a mild shampoo

Use a mild and chemical-free shampoo suitable for your hair type to get rid of excess oil and dead skin cells settled on your scalp. This will help unclog pores and nourish your hair follicles.

Apply conditioner

Applying conditioner to your tresses can help improve the texture of your hair and prevent it from becoming frizzy.

Hair drying

Avoid using a blow dryer to dry your hair after a hair wash. Instead, wrap your hair around a cotton towel to get rid of  excess water and leave it open to dry naturally.

Apply serum

Take a few drops of hair serum and rub it between your palms. Apply it to your damp hair to avoid frizzy and dry hair.
