FMGE December 2024: 10 points to check if you are eligible for the examination
The NBEMS has begun the registration process for the December session of FMGE 2024. Before applying, check these eligibility requirements.

1. The candidate must be a citizen of India or an overseas citizen of India.

2. The candidate should possess a primary medical qualification confirmed by the Indian Embassy concerned, to be a recognised qualification for enrolment as a medical practitioner in that country.

3. The result of the final examination for the said primary medical qualification should have been declared on or before October 31, 2024.

4. Candidates must submit proof of evidence that establishes that the result of the final examination for a primary medical qualification was declared on or before the cut-off date. It should also be confirmed that the candidate has successfully completed all required courses of the primary medical courses as per the requirement of the institution concerned.

5. The candidate should obtain an ‘Eligibility Certificate’ from the National Medical Commission (or the erstwhile Medical Council of India).

6. Candidates intending to obtain a primary medical qualification from any medical institution outside India, on or after May 2018, should mandatorily qualify NEET for admission to MBBS course which will be deemed as an eligibility certificate.

7. The result of NEET should be valid for a period of three years from the date of declaration of result.

8. Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the criteria prescribed in Graduate Medical Education Regulations (GMER), 1997.
