Who just replaced Taylor Swift as world's youngest self-made woman billionaire?

Lucy Guo becomes the youngest self-made woman billionaire.

She now holds the record, surpassing singer Taylor Swift as the youngest self-made woman billionaire.

According to Forbes, the milestone comes as her former company, Scale AI, nears the completion of a tender offer slated for June 1.

The deal values Scale AI at an impressive $25 billion, a huge jump from last year’s $13.8 billion valuation.

Scale AI, co-founded by Guo in 2016, helps label data to train AI systems, often working with the US government and OpenAI.

Guo’s journey is one of hard work and success in the tech world, creating a company that plays a key role in AI.

Born to Chinese immigrant parents, Lucy grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she developed a love for coding.

Guo studied at Carnegie Mellon University but dropped out to become a Thiel Fellow, an initiative by billionaire Peter Thiel that funds promising young entrepreneurs.
