Is planet X real? 10 surprising facts you need to know about planet X

In January 2016, astronomers Konstantin Batygin and Mike Brown at Caltech suggested the possible existence of a distant planet, known as Planet X.

Planet X is thought to be about 5 to 10 times the mass of Earth. This makes it a giant, with a size similar to Neptune.

If it exists, Planet X would orbit the Sun on a highly elongated path, far beyond Pluto.

Planet X could be located about 20 to 30 times farther from the Sun than Neptune, placing it in the farthest regions of the solar system.

Despite the evidence, Planet X (or Planet Nine) has not yet been discovered.

There is still debate among scientists about whether this planet truly exists.

The search for Planet X continues, with new tools like the Rubin Observatory in Chile helping astronomers search the sky for this mysterious planet.

Planet X may be difficult to observe due to its distant location and small size, which makes it faint and hard to detect.

If Planet X is discovered, it could completely change our understanding of the solar system and our place in the universe.
