The ocean is home to many beautiful creatures, but some are highly dangerous. Here are six sea creatures you’ll want to stay far away from.

Box Jellyfish: Known as one of the deadliest, the box jellyfish’s venom can cause heart failure, paralysis, and severe pain in minutes.

Stonefish: With sharp spines loaded with venom, the stonefish is nearly invisible on the ocean floor and can deliver an incredibly painful sting if stepped on.

Blue-Ringed Octopus: Despite its small size, this octopus packs a powerful toxin that can cause paralysis and even death. Its blue rings glow when it feels threatened.

Lionfish: The lionfish’s striking appearance hides venomous spines that cause extreme pain, nausea, and even breathing difficulties if stung.

Cone Snail: With a beautiful shell and deadly venom, the cone snail releases toxins that can paralyse its prey and harm humans.

Sea Snakes: They are highly venomous and their bites can be deadly.
