IPL 2023 has entered its final week and here is a detailed performance statistics of bowlers across different teams

Gujarat Titans' Mohammad Shami currently holds the Purple Cap. He took the highest number of wickets (24) in 14 IPL matches with an average of 17.66

Shami has also bowled the most dot balls (172) in 55 overs of 14 IPL matches. He bowled 19 dot balls alone in a match against Delhi Capitals on May 2, 2023 in 4 overs

Rajasthan Royals' pacer Trent Boult has bowled the most maiden overs (3) in IPL 2023 with an average of 24.00 in a total of 38.0 overs

Lucknow Super Giants' Mark Wood bowled with the best bowling average of 11.81 in 16 overs in 4 IPL matches. Wood also has the best bowling strike rate (8.72) in IPL 2023

Mark Wood played against Delhi Capitals on April 1 with the best bowling figure of 14/5. He took 5 wickets in 4 overs with a strike rate of 4.80

Kolkata Knight Riders' Andre Russell bowled with the best strike rate in innings(4.33) on April 14 while bowling against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Russell took 3 wickets in 2.1 overs  

Punjab Kings' Matthew Short has the best bowling economy rate of 6.25 in 4 overs of 6 IPL matches played by him in 2023

Sunrisers Hyderabad's Bhuvneshwar Kumar held the best bowling economy rate in innings (2.75) on April 24 while bowling against Delhi Capitals. He took 2 wickets in 4 overs and bowled 16 dot balls

Rashid Khan from Gujarat Titans became the only bowler to take a hat-trick in IPL 2023 thus far. He played against Kolkata Knight Riders and dismissed Andre Russell, Sunil Narine and Shardul Thakur
