Useful Tips For JEE Preparation

Here are some effective and useful tips for the preparation of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)

Keep the syllabus ready

The first step to prepare for JEE is to keep the syllabus of Main and Advanced ready. Make sure to note down the format and syllabus of the examination and follow it till the day of the exam

Prepare a timetable

Prepare a realistic timetable and utilise your most productive hours for the most important and difficult topics. Take enough breaks in between to prevent burnout and stress

Be thorough with NCERT

Make sure that you are thorough with each and every concept of NCERT before referring to other study materials. NCERT books will provide you the basic idea that should not be left out

Refer to study materials

Refer to enough study materials pertinent to your subjects. Make sure that they are from authentic sources and have everything covered for JEE preparation

Make notes

Jot down all important points, formulae and theories for revision. This will help you skim through important topics quickly and clarify complex concepts

Solve question papers

After studying the topics thoroughly try to solve previous years' JEE question papers. You can also refer to the question bank that contains a collection of questions from the previous years' JEE exams

Take a test

Prepare a set of questionnaires covering the concepts you have learnt and test yourself every weekend to know how well you have understood them. This will also help you learn from your mistakes
