Avoid lifting the entire menu off the table. Keep the bottom half touching the table at all times

It is considered rude to be talking or messaging on the phone while eating. Put your phone on silent and keep it in your purse or pocket to avoid distractions

Keep your elbows off the table

Make a conscious effort to keep your elbows off the table as it is considered rude. It prohibits people at the table from being able to look or talk to each other

Keep the rim of your plate clean

Keep your food inside the rim of the plate out of respect for the staff who has to clear your plate after you finish eating
