5 natural air fresheners for your room

Regular air fresheners may contain potentially harmful ingredients and chemicals that are not good for your health and the environment

Here are some natural air fresheners for your room 

Essential oils

Essential oils enriched with the aroma of lavender, rosemary, lemongrass or tea tree can be excellent air fresheners. Add two to three drops of essential oil to the diffuser for a refreshing fragrance

Coffee

Coffee can fight strong odours and absorb foul smell. Take 3 tbsp of ground coffee in a bowl and place it in the corner of your room. Coffee can filter the bad odour out of the air 

Vinegar

Fill an empty spray bottle with one part of vinegar and four parts of water and spritz it into the air to freshen your room. Vinegar removes bad smell from the environment and can be a natural room freshener

Scented candles

Scented candles obtained from coconut or soy wax infused with essential oils are perfect air fresheners

Air-purifying indoor plants

Air-purifying indoor plants such as peace lily, eucalyptus, devil's ivy and lavender are natural air fresheners as they filter pollution and harmful chemicals from the air
