With over 3,000 tigers spread across 53 tiger reserves in the country, India is home to 75 per cent of the world’s tiger population. Here are 5 places in the country where the chances of spotting a tiger are higher. 

Ranthambore National Park, Rajasthan

One of India's most famed national parks for tiger spotting, the Ranthambore National Park is also home to leopards, jungle cats, sloth bears, hyenas, among others.

Kanha Tiger Reserve, Madhya Pradesh

Kanha Tiger Reserve is spread across four picturesque zones that offer a great wildlife experience. 

Jim Corbett National Park, Uttarakhand 

Established in 1936, Jim Corbett is the country's oldest national park. Nestled amid dense forests, the park is home to over 200 tigers. 

Bandhavgarh National Park, Madhya Pradesh

 The park is spread over 100 square kilometres and one can be hopeful to spot a tiger here along with chital deer, sambar deer, barking deer, and wild boar, among others. 

Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra

Also known as 'The Jewel of Vidarbha', Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve has a rich biodiversity and is one of the oldest and largest tiger reserves in the state of Maharashtra.
