Also known as Devil's Ivy, the money plant is an excellent and an easy-to-grow houseplant. It is essential to take special care of this plant in the summer season due to an increase in temperature and humidity.

Here are some tips for maintaining money plant in summers.

Potting

Money plants thrive in well-drained and moist soil. Mix some cocopeat with the soil to fertilise the soil naturally. This will prevent the roots of the plant from drying during summers.

Watering

Watering money plants frequently is essential to prevent them from drying. Make sure to water them at least twice a day in summers to keep them green and hydrated.

Grow them in water

Money plants are excellent for growing in water, especially during summers. Make sure to change the water every two days to protect the plant against fungal diseases and prevent its roots from rotting.

Protect from direct sunlight

Avoid exposing this plant to direct sunlight in summers as excess heat and high temperature can burn its leaves. You can keep this plant in partial shade or near a window.
