4 tips for maintaining lucky bamboo

Lucky bamboo not only adds aesthetics to your interior but it also helps purify the air indoors. Here are 4 tips to maintain a lucky bamboo plant.

Light

Lucky bamboo thrives in moderate to low light conditions. Watch out for yellow leaves as it indicates that your plant is receiving overexposure to sunlight.

Soil

Lucky bamboo can grow with or without soil. However, for those who prefer to grow it in soil, it is essential to plant it in a well-drained pot.

Water

Lucky bamboo is sensitive to chlorine or tap water. It is ideal to grow it in distilled or filtered water as it helps keep the plant healthy and hydrated. Change the water every 8-10 days.

Temperature and humidity

Lucky bamboo grows well in warm and moderate temperatures, and high humidity.
