Ram Temple inauguration: Routes to reach temple town

The consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh will take place on January 22. The city of Ayodhya is preparing for a grand celebration on the special day. 

As people from across the country gear up to visit the temple town to witness the inauguration, here are the routes to reach the town. 

By air

Several airlines have announced special flights to Ayodhya International Airport on the occasion of the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony. 

Visitors can also take flights to Mahayogi Gokrakhnat Airport in Gorakhpur or Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow. One can also reach Ayodhya after landing at Prayagraj or Varanasi airports.

By train

Ayodhya railway station is well-connected with railways of different zones. Visitors can reach either of the two main railway stations in the district - Faizabad or Ayodhya.

By road

Services of Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation buses are available to reach Ayodhya by road. One can take a bus from Lucknow, Delhi, Varanasi, Prayagraj and Gorakhpur.

Within Ayodhya

To reach the temple in Ayodhya, visitors can opt for local transport options including auto-rickshaws or cycle rickshaws.
