PM Modi inaugurates YashoBhoomi Convention Centre

PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the first phase of the newly built International Convention Centre (IICC), named YashoBhoomi in Dwarka, New Delhi on his birthday September 17

PM Modi also inaugurated the extension of the Delhi Airport Metro Express line from Dwarka Sector 21 to a new metro station YashoBhoomi Dwarka Sector 25

Here's a glimpse of the grand convention centre built in Delhi

The YashoBhoomi centre is built over 73,000 square metres. It comprises 15 convention rooms including the main auditorium

It has a big ballroom and 13 meeting rooms with a total holding capacity of 11,000 delegates

The venue possesses the country's most extensive LED media infrastructure

The spacious ballroom can accommodate approximately 2500 guests offering them a grand welcome at any event

The plenary hall is furnished with a seating capacity for approximately 6,000 guests

The YashoBhoomi centre has innovative security measures to ensure the safety of attendees

It features a grand 1,07,000 square metres exhibition area. This centre is touted as the world's largest Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions facility
