PM Modi in  Lakshadweep: Snorkelling, early morning walks

Prime Minister Narendra Modi  visited Lakshadweep on January 2, 2024 to lay the foundation stone of several developmental projects worth  1,156 crore. He took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a series of pics from his visit.

He captioned the post, "Lakshadweep is not just a group of islands; it's a timeless legacy of traditions and a testament to the spirit of its people. My visit has been an enriching journey of learning and growing."

He also interacted with beneficiaries of government schemes and met people in Agatti, Bangaram and Kavaratti.

He thanked the local people for their hospitality and added, "I am still in awe of the stunning beauty of its islands and the incredible warmth of its people."

During his visit, PM Modi also went snorkelling to explore the marine life.

Sharing the pics Modi called it an 'exhilarating experience' and added, “For those who wish to embrace the adventurer in them, Lakshadweep has to be on your list."

He described his early morning walks on the beach as 'moments of pure bliss.'
