Eyes, Christmas tree, fireworks, bubble: NASA's perfectly timed pics

The US space agency National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) frequently takes to Instagram to share perfectly-timed pictures that often leave users stunned. Here are some of them.

NASA's Hubble telescope captured this image of penguin and egg-shaped galaxies. 

Dubbed the "Green Monster", NASA's space telescopes captured this mesmerising pic of a massive star explosion.

NASA shared this pic on the eve of New Year and wrote "NYE fireworks are brought to you by the cosmos!" This pic is of a nova called GK Persei.

This pic shared by the US space agency features the Christmas Tree Cluster formed by the stars' X-rays surrounded by a nebula of green gas. 

This pic is of a Bubble Nebula formed from hot gas that moves like wind. The bubble emits gases in different colours due to varying temperatures.

NASA shared this stunning pic on the occasion of Halloween featuring bursts of light from active regions of the sun creating the shape of a jack-o-lantern's face.

This pic is of a raven-shaped star-forming region NGC 346 in mid-infrared light. Dusty silicates and chemical molecules can be seen forming a raven-like figure.

Take a look at this captivating photo of the death of the Helix Nebula, captured by NASA's telescopes. The image looks like an eye with a bright pink light at the center that resembles the pupil.

This image, captured by NASA's telescope, features the Helix Nebula resembling an eye. The nebula is formed when a star undergoes the final stage of nuclear fusion.
