4 Indians on Forbes list of World's Most Powerful Women 2023

Forbes has unveiled its 20th annual ranking of The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women. The list highlights female CEOs, entertainers, politicians, philanthropists and policymakers. 

From Nirmala Sitharaman to Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, here is a look at the four Indians who feature on the list. 

 Nirmala Sitharaman 

Minister of Finance and Minister of Corporate Affairs since 2019, Nirmala holds the 32nd position in the 2023 rankings. 

Roshni Nadar Malhotra

Billionaire and philanthropist, Roshni serves as the chairperson of HCL Technologies. She has secured the 60th spot on the list. She is the first Indian woman to lead a listed IT company in India. 

Soma Mondal 

Soma is the current Chairperson of the Steel Authority of India. She holds the 70th spot on the list. 

Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw

The 70-year-old billionaire and   entrepreneur ranks at the 76th position. She is the founder of the biopharmaceutical company Biocon Limited.
