10 sparkly photos of interstellar space by NASA

In astronomy, the space between the stars is known as interstellar space. Check out ten breathtaking pictures of interstellar space shared by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

Here is a look at 10 stunning sparkly pics of interstellar space shared by NASA.

This image of a spiral galaxy, 220 million light-years from Earth was captured by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope. It is also known as a "jellyfish" galaxy.

This stunning image captures the wispy remnant of a massive stellar explosion in the constellation Cygnus. The image was captured in ultraviolet by the Galaxy Evolution Explorer (GALEX).

This mesmerising image is of a cosmic reef in the constellation Dorado. The image shows the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way.

This image is a composition of a compiled image captured by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope, Spitzer Space Telescope and the Chanda X-Ray Observatory. The image shows a dazzling portion of the Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC), also known as the Wing.

NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope captured this image of a massive cluster of stars in the sky, known as Eta Carinae.

This captivating image captured by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope shows a starry pillar in the Eagle Nebula in the constellation Serpens.

Captured by Galaxy Evolution Explorer, this stunning image shows Andromeda, the Milky Way galaxy's neighbouring galaxy.

This vibrant image shared by NASA shows NGC 346, a star cluster in a galaxy near Earth.

Captured by NASA's Super Pressure Balloon Imaging Telescope (SuperBIT), this image shows the ultraviolet view of the Tarantula and Antennae galaxies.

This gorgeous image of a huge cluster of stars in interstellar space was captured by NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope. The image shows a green fog made of hydrogen and carbon.
