Applying for a UK student visa and don't know where to start?
Here is a simple guide to applying for your UK student visa
You can apply for a UK student visa once you have accepted an unconditional offer from your university. They will then provide you with a Certificate of Acceptance of Studies (CAS)
You will be required to show financial proof showing evidence that you have enough money to support yourself and pay for your course
Cross-check the list of all required documentation from the British government’s official Gov.UK website
You will need to pay an Immigration Health Surcharge as part of your application. This will allow you to access the UK’s National Health Service
Ensure that you provide all the mandatory information and supporting documentation with your application. No further evidence will be accepted after you have made your application
You will then have to apply for a visa application online through the British government's official website and book your appointment
Then you will be called to the visa application centers (VACs) in person with your forms, supporting documentation and the visa fee
You can ask your university to guide you with your visa application. Some universities have dedicated immigration advisors who support international students with their applications
