Robert Downey Jr announces return to Marvel's Avengers as Dr Doom
Marvel Studios at San Diego Comic-Con featured Robert Downey Jr, who announced his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the villain Victor Von Doom or Doctor Doom in Avengers movie.

Downey appeared at the event wearing Dr Doom's mask and a green cloak. The actor took to Instagram to share the appearance and wrote in the caption, "New mask, same task."

The actor will return as Doctor Doom in Avengers: Doomsday in theatres in May 2026. The movie will be directed by the Russo brothers.
