Make a list of all the things you’re good at, irrespective of whether they are “professional” qualities or not.

Keep your personal statement as short and simple as possible.

Begin your CV with a list of skills you have acquired as employers will see them as much more interesting and relevant than your previous roles, if applicable.

If you possess any skill that can be useful to the company, list that. This can be languages you can speak or software that you can use. 

List in detail the extra-curricular activities that you have volunteered, relevant tasks you undertook, and the skills you developed during the tenure.
