7 best global universities for Petroleum Engineering as per QS Rankings 2025

The University of Texas at Austin in the United States has been ranked the number one institute by QS Rankings 2025 to study Petroleum Engineering. It has an overall score of 97.4.

The University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada is placed in the second spot for Petroleum Engineering courses. It scored 92.8 in the QS Rankings by Subject 2025.

Texas A&M University in the United States bagged the third spot among the world's best institutes for Petroleum Engineering with a score of 90.1.
